Episode:Experiential Deity—The Almighty Supreme (Part 2)

From Symmetry of Soul

God the Supreme is not the Paradise Trinity, neither is he any one or all of those superuniverse Creators whose functional activities actually synthesize his evolving almighty power. God the Supreme, while of origin in the Trinity, becomes manifest to evolutionary creatures as a personality of power only through the co-ordinated functions of the first three levels of God the Sevenfold.

NOTE: The Experiential Deity of the Supreme Creators, within the power-personality unity of the Sevenfold, expressed in Supremacy is the Deity of the Almighty. We are challenged to parse and comprehend this sentence through this study arc.

Summary by Kermit

Commentary after Review

In the summary last week the Universal Father and the Supreme Father were compared in a parallel fashion, with respect to God as transcendent (without) vs. God as immanent (within). To clarify the parallel more precisely, The Universal Father is absolutely without experience and the Supreme Father is without finite experience. The Universal Mother, in contrast with the Supreme Being (Supreme Father) is within finite experience. Thus are we creatures enabled to have finite experience. Further, the Almighty Supreme is likewise within finite experience, being the summation of finite experience.

Throughout this arc on experiential deity we are being asked to view cosmic phenomena in both a time (reality) perspective and an eternal (deity) perspective. And increasingly we are asked to do this simultaneously. Perhaps if we practice persistently we can transcend thinking about the things of time as if time is a reality.

116:2. The Almighty and God the Sevenfold

As we begin this section recall the statement from Part 5 of the previous series (06.23.20), “The Experiential Deity of the Supreme Creators within the power-personality unity of the Sevenfold expressed in Supremacy is the Deity of the Almighty.” Approaching the Deity of the Almighty in connection with the “power-personality unity of God the Sevenfold presents abstruse complexities. The number of individuals encompassed within God the Sevenfold is staggering. And when we consider the Universal Father in the context of the Sevenfold we have to keep in mind that we are considering him as functioning within the limitations inherent in the Sevenfold and not in the fullness of his infinite nature. Remember the Father we comprehend on the third circuit of Havona is not as the volitional absolute, but as the Supreme Father.

Mentioned previously the Supreme Creators actually create the Supreme and through their collective acts are actually the source of growing power of God the Supreme as almighty sovereign to and in the seven superuniverses. God the Supreme is a personalization of a facet of Deity, not an individual person. God the Supreme top down is the Universal Mother, and bottom up is the Almighty Supreme.

It is in the perspective of Deity that we can begin to understand the truth of monotheism, notwithstanding the plural manifestations thereof in reality, which on its face could be mistaken for polytheism. Mankind’s earliest inklings of monotheism are the result of encircuitment in the Holy Spirit and the innate functioning of the cosmic intuitions.

The authors remind us of our inability to comprehend the eternity, infinity, levels of deity reality, and the absoluteness of sovereignty of the Paradise Trinity. In concession to these limitations of mortal, time space creatures the Sevenfold functions to provide the temporal elements of origins, relativities, and destinies with which we might find budding cosmic understanding.

The levels of God the Sevenfold are presented as a list in bottom up order, the order in which we encounter them on our pursuit of Paradise perfection. We observed that the specific names in this list differ from other listings of the Sevenfold squad, depending on the level of abstraction intended by the authors, i.e., emphasizing either the deity or the reality perspective. Listen here to the archive for more about the cosmic mothers.

The Sevenfold list with the Supreme Being occupying the mid-point illustrates his role as synthesis of the experiential and existential. God the Mother as the experiential spirit personalization of the Paradise Trinity provides the focalizing context for the evolutionary almighty power summation of the acts of the Supreme Creators. Important to remember that the Supreme Being is the maximum revelation of Deity to the seven superuniverses and not the maximum conceptualization of Deity.

The revelators disabuse us of the idea that the summation of the unification of the collective acts of first three levels of the Sevenfold the (Supreme Creators) might somehow redound to the level of Paradise Deity. Rather, such unification leads to the new power potential of experiential Deity and finds union with Universal Mother (originating in the Paradise Trinity) in the Supreme Being.

The final paragraph of our section can be summarized in the statement previously mentioned in this summary: “The Experiential Deity of the Supreme Creators within the power-personality unity of the Sevenfold expressed in Supremacy is the Deity of the Almighty.” And as we penetrate further into experiential Deity we should increasingly recognize the authors speaking in reality mode and deity mode simultaneously.

Notes by Brad

  • There's no such thing as magic.
    • Don't confuse your failure to understand something with something being incomprehensible to all and thus mystical/magical.
    • i.e., Don't project and universalize your failure to understand.
    • Most of the greatest thinkers who've ever lived have done this with reality and Deity.

  • Deity can beget Deity.

  • Use two eyes to see: One eye on the reality perspective and the other on the Deity perspective.
    • The reality perspective is like piles of marbles... groupings of individuals. Something familiar to us.
    • The Deity perspective is far more abstract.
      • Give simple monotheism its due: by grace of the Holy Spirit, it allowed humans to conceive of Deity for the first time.
      • Because Deity is unity. Not a pile of individuals on Mount Olympus.
      • Simple monotheism has factual issues, sure, but it also has truth... in that it points to the Deity perspective.
    • Be patient. With morontia mind in the next life our mind will innately see this way much better.
    • But don't let go of reality and enter mystical land.
      • Quantum mechanics, for example. "This object's existence depends on my observation of it" is logical rubbish and older than primitive pre-Greek philosophy warmed over.
    • You cannot use the Holy Spirit with only one eye open.
    • Study these papers well. These are two-eyed sentences: proper parsing requires both eyes open.

  • Power-personality synthesis. Why does this happen in reality?
    • Spirit pattern (personality) and energy pattern (power), here in reality, are two sides of the same Deity coin.
      • Above the absolutes of spirit and matter is Deity.
    • They are purposing of a super-absolute part of God the Father, a super-absolute part of Him "before" spirit and matter differentiated.
      • Hence, down in time a power-personality synthesis someday will be fully achieved—a re-emergence of the original un-separated Deity.

  • "God the ____" is not necessarily an individual!
    • This construct means "personalization of the ____ facet of Deity."
      • i.e., purposing of that facet of Deity.
    • God the Father is not an individual! This is personalized Deity, not individualized Deity.
      • Step down further to discover those two faces...
      • The Universal Father (personality). This is the individual (albeit outside time and space)
      • The Universal Controller (power)
    • Consider God The Sevenfold
      • The Sevenfold itself (a facet of Deity) includes Deity that is not at all personalized: controllers
      • But call it God the Sevenfold and it reminds you of the personalized aspects of The Sevenfold
      • But these personalized aspects are not necessarily individuals! Stay in the Deity perspective when considering this!
    • Similarly, God the Almighty is the oversoul, not a soul itself.

  • The Sevenfold (facet of Deity) is especially difficult to understand.
    • From the Deity perspective The Sevenfold has no individuals in it.
    • The Supreme Creators (part of God the Sevenfold) are creating the Almighty Supreme (the "body" of the someday Supreme Being)
      • Parse their name properly: They are creators of The Almighty Supreme. not "the creators who are supreme."
      • How can Creators (personalities) do a Controller-like (power) activity?
      • Through the Sevenfold, where Creators and Controllers are a unified whole.
      • There, there's no divide to bridge between creator and controller, between personality and power.
    • The Universal Father on the 3rd Circuit Havona is actually The Universal Father in the Sevenfold.
      • The Sevenfold is what makes this approachable at all.
    • The Sevenfold is "creature approachable." Another means of direct downreach, more step-like than Mother Deity.
      • The 7 steps in it "bridge the divide" between existential and experiential.
    • Its first 3 levels are Supreme Creators (experiential). Its last three are Paradise Deities (existential). Mediating at position #4 is (drumroll) The Supreme Being.
      • The Supreme Being is not a source point. It is where the two sides come together.

  • Experience is fundamental in this universe age
    • The Universal Father is absolutely without experience.
    • The Supreme Being (The Supreme Father), is without finite experience (not absolutely without experience)
      • He's an absonite being, yes, but what's fundamental here is experience.
      • Relative to the finite, it's effectively as if he's purely existential and changeless.
      • His lack of finite experience is the only we reason you and I can have any finite experiences!
    • The Universal Mother, is within finite experience.
    • The Almighty Supreme, is not only within finite experience, he is of all those experiences (the summation of them)
      • In a way, he is the growing "body" of the someday Supreme Being.
    • The Supreme Being is the best we get in terms of Deity accessible to us in this universe age.
      • Beyond The Supreme Being, there is an omnipresence of Deity, yes, but not directly accessible.
      • This pushes The Universal Father even further away from us! He's no burning bush.

  • Time is an appearance
    • We already know this. Dreams that seem to go on for months but only last 10 minutes.
    • There is experiential sequence in our mind, but it is what we project in our mind.
      • Your experiences are in your mind, not out there.
    • That intuition that "the end from the beginning" is a meaningful phrase despite its non-linearity...
      • By grace we can know this via our encircuitment in the Holy Spirit.

  • Lowercase d-deity is essentially like saying divinity (Deity-like-ness)
    • Spirit is somewhat non-thing like, divinity definitely is non-thing-like, and Deity is entirely non-thing-ness.

  • Before a local universe's primary eruption, a Creative Mother Spirit was a Creative Spirit--a controller being.
