Every time man makes a reflective moral choice, he immediately experiences a new divine invasion of his soul. Moral choosing constitutes religion as the motive of inner response to outer conditions. Man's forward spiritual urge is not a psychic illusion. All of man's universe romancing may not be fact, but much, very much, is truth.

We finished a major study arc of thirteen programs, that began with our first broadcast after Thanksgiving. In this focused study of Jesus, we examined three aspects of his, bestowal:
- His true nature as the way, the truth, and the life, the 4th ER to our planet.
- The legacy of his life as the spiritual uplifter to Urantia;
- The nature of his living faith.
Our study covered Papers; 180—The Farewell Discourse, 194—The Bestowal of the Spirit of Truth, 195—After Pentecost, and 196—The Faith of Jesus.
Our discussions made extensive reference to the threefold nature of cosmic reality, and the six levels of meaning formally presented in Jesus’ answer Nathaniel’s question concerning the rule for living in Paper 147.
Additionally, our commentaries presented valuable comparisons and contrasts among Christianity—the religion about Jesus; the 4th ER—Jesus and his exclusively religious mission proclaiming our sonship with The Heavenly Father and brotherhood among men; and the 5th ER—the emergency philosophic uplift to our world.
Now, armed with the spirit gifts of The Father, our Creative Mother Spirit, and our Master, Creator Son, we open the revelation to the narration of the momentous events of two hundred thousand years ago, the residue and repercussions of which continue to affect planetary social, moral, economic and political evolution.
A challenge in this study will be to cultivate an ability to discern and reject the telltale remains of the pernicious doctrine of self-assertion from among the complex array of philosophies, teachings, and movements that abound in our world today.
With the assurance of the eventual rule of Jesus’ gospel over this troubled world, we undertake the study of the rebellion of our system sovereign and the ensuing implications for Urantia, our place in the heavens.
