Revelation reveals only that which is beyond discovery, and could also be useful. For example, "From the year A.D. 1934 back to the birth of the first two human beings is just 993,419 years" is a fact we could not possibly ever determine through archaeology. But it someday may help archaeologists as one of several more highly precise better initial assumptions.
