The Urantia Book, The Urantia Papers, and the Fifth epochal revelation
DRAFT: This page is in a tentative draft status. It may contain problems ranging from typographical errors to philosophic inconsistency. Nevertheless, it is offered under the be bold wiki publication model. |
The Urantia Papers is the proper designation of the revelation of truth itself.
The Urantia Book is the name given to publications of all 196 papers and the foreword in some single volume, either printed or electronic. Such works may include additional material that is not part of The Urantia Papers such as their front matter (e.g., table of contents), indicies, appendixes, reference maps, or annotations of some form.
Certain other published works are in existence that are altered versions of The Urantia Papers, perhaps in service of language modernization or simplified abridgement. These are neither The Urantia Papers nor The Urantia Book.

- Urantia Foundation, the original publisher. Also available for download in many formats for free, and audiobook listening.
- Big Blue Book, a very simple section-based reading website.
- Illustrated Urantia Book Truthbook is an outreach focused on presenting the life and teachings of Jesus. Their illustrated web text has some visual panache.

- Urantia Association International, another social-fraternal organization that is more active outside of North America. A cumbersome presentation, with slightly enhanced web formatting.
Many other websites and mobile apps offer the book in digital form, but the above are the ones favored by Symmetry of Soul.
