• Youmans science popularizer
• Spencer evolutionary thinker who attempted to synthesize all human thought into one philosophy. Mixed results, but crowing achievement were his sociological observations borne of actual data, carefully catalogued by his secretaries.
• Sumner carried forward Spencer's ideas. Founded American sociology.
• Keller Carried forward Sumner's ideas until they lost most popular appeal by the 1930s
• Fullerton Classical 19th century philosopher who summed up philosophy well before the rise of deconstructionism and other poisons.
