From Symmetry of Soul

There are three senses of this word used in The Urantia Book:

  1. A comprehensive system of ideas--a philosophy--built on the assumption there is only one stuff: material matter/energy
  2. The observation that we are animal-origin creatures who are predicated on material mind and matter. This is OK. This is by design. But it’s a natural inclination that humans ought to challenge within themselves.
  3. The full flower of the material comfort era. Mammon. All the excesses expected in this era. He's so materialistic; he has 5 sports cars.
