Psalm 1
From Symmetry of Soul
By Amenomope. A very old set of ideas, it's not accidental the scribes started the Book of Psalms out with this (read it here Psalms 1).
Original passage | Through the looking glass |
---|---|
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked | Cursed is the one who walks in step with the wicked |
or stand in the way that sinners take | and stands in the way that sinners take |
or sit in the company of mockers, | and sits in the company of mockers, |
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his [the Lord's] law day and night. | and whose delight is in the law of man, and who meditates (takes the measure of things) on man's law day and night. |
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season | That person is not at all like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season |
