Branching out

• Let's target the beginner. Someone with a philosophic impulse.
• Video podcast. Brad and Ruthie talk in 20-minute video podcasts about married life in the context of the 5th ER. Setting is at home in front of the hearth. Goal is casual, but engaging and high production values. "Our Merried Life?"
• Video-based delivery of summaries. Either on a YouTube channel, or embedded directly on the episode page, or both. Rehearse a few times so the reading is rehearsed enough to help amplify meaning (but doesn't need to be memorized).

  • Summary of Logical Consistency Vs Personal Creativity presentation (and a better title) Summarize the audio of the presentation, and offer the summary in conjunction with the slides PHI provides.
  • Affirmation Vs Revelation This is partially included in Logical consistency Vs Personal creativity, however it's so foundational, I would like to discuss its necessity if any UB reader is to make it over that first real hurdle; is this really what it says it is?
  • What IS revelation? What is it not?
  • What is faith? What does entrance into the kingdom look like? How do you not only believe God's promises, but also follow His instructions?
  • Recognition Vs Realization This is discussed at great length in 16:7 on the SOS episode regarding Cosmic Mind. This would be a small study about this one part of the overall whole subject of the Cosmic Mind which deserves its own large study.
  • Self changer, self-adjuster, self controller series of self-mastery. This is another shoot-off of the Logical Consistency Vs Personal Creativity series.
  • TUB Study Practices and Truth discovering modes of approach. Over the years Chris has given many clues as to how he goes about synthesizing the book, and I've compiled a list of them, and intend to search through his content and the UB itself on how to approach the authoritative elimination of error.
  • How to seek first the Kingdom. A series compiling facts from the UB and Chris's work on the potential onramps an individual goes through with real student testimonies on a personal inner experience and how that led them to be born again.
  • Faith-submission: a sincere cooperative subordination to the Paradise Trinity. Chris wrote a paper on this in the library, but we could pull facts from PHI work to add to it.
• Write missing summaries. Top priority, Medium priority, Low priority
• Study-arc and topical-study level pages. Synthesize all summaries and notes, provide "some thing to keep in mind" for each.
• Write placeholders. Listed here
• Create new Emphatic typography page. Reworking exclamation marks (simplify!), add in ALL CAPS, "most emphasized paragraphs and sentences" etc
• Create new List of The Urantia Papers. With episode coverage indicated. Another way to offer the archive of broadcasts, but oriented toward The Urantia Book instead of date.
• Find 10 top episodes. And add that category to the sidebar menu.

Content improvement/refinement

• Refreshed Key Concepts. Collect all website pages to date and compile one more thorough Key concepts page that is less sprawling than the one of 2023.
• Systematic search and replace or AWB tasks
  • Spellcheck summaries. I'm sure there are typos and other gremlins aplenty in summaries.
  • TUB-ify all bracketed links. Used advanced text search feature to find all [195:8.1] types of references and convert them into {{tub:195:8.1}} markup
  • Wiki-fy important [[key concepts]]. via search
• Improve certain old summaries written in abridged style. Kermit's style did not reach full maturity until perhaps 2016 or 2017. Older summaries are at times more like sketches of ideas or partial notes. Rewriting these into full summaries would be helpful.
• Copyedit/REDESIGN all summaries for consistent style. Someday if we have summaries for perhaps they can be reformulated so they are not broken across episode boundaries. Instead, one might read one summary for an entire series, or an entire arc.

Platform improvement

• Talk pages. Add them back to the CSS, and allow anonymous edits. Is a Captcha possible?
• New podcast platform. See Symmetry of Soul:Platform
• Time marks data entry for the purpose of better audio playback
• Email subscription and periodic mailing.
