Existential Deity was a 20-episode arc covered in 2023 by Symmetry of Soul. It comprises five series covering five papers of The Urantia Book: Papers 6 through 10.
Some Things to Keep in Mind
- Wait! Didn't we already cover some existential Deity in God the Father (study arc)?
- Not really. God the Father is antecedent to even existential Deity. You could even argue he's antecedent to personality, and is not "personal" in the way we use that word.
- There's some parallelism with Experiential Deity (study arc)
- Paper 115 is about personality. Papers 6 and 7 somewhat parallel the personality side.
- Paper 116 is about power. Papers 8 and 9 somewhat parallel the power side.
- Paper 117 is about the wholeness. It mentions God the Mother overtly. Paper 10 somewhat parallels this.
- There's some parallelism with God the Father (study arc)
- Paper 1 is about "the name of the being." So are Paper 6 and 8
- Papers 2 through 5 somewhat parallel Paper 7 and 9
- Paper 10, The Paradise Trinity, was foreshadowed all along in Papers 6-9: that which is founded on The Paradise Trinity, instead of being founded on God the Father.
